Security & Data Handling
How we protect your data and maintain transparency.
Your uploaded documents are currently sent to Google Cloud Vertex AI to generate draft scripts. Your attorney-approved scripts are currently sent to OpenAI audio APIs to generate audio. We're transparent about this because you should know exactly how your data flows.
All scripts, audio files, and documents are encrypted in our database. All data transfers use TLS
1.3 encryption. Hosted on AWS in the United States (Northern Virginia / us-east-1).
We do not train AI models on your data. Under their published service terms, OpenAI says API data is not used to train or improve its models by default, and Google Cloud says Vertex AI customer data is not used to train or fine-tune models without your permission or instruction.
Provider retention depends on the API and features in use. OpenAI documents default retention for some API logs, and Google Cloud documents limited caching and abuse-monitoring scenarios for Vertex AI. You control retention policies inside LawyerAudio and can delete content anytime. Activity logs are exportable for compliance.
Nothing reaches clients without explicit attorney approval. Full audit logs track generation, edits, sharing, and listening. Expiring links with revocable access.
Case-level permissions control who can view and edit each case. Role-based access lets paralegals draft while attorneys approve. Clients access via secure private links.
Share content via expiring links. Set expiration dates and revoke access anytime. Clients never need to create accounts.
Your data is your data. You control what's stored, how long it's retained, and when it's deleted. We're a tool for your practice, not a data company.
